A major sod installation (on top of the former massive bunker on the first hole) is just one of the major improvements going on at Georgetown Golf Club since Fall 2024. All new Billy Bunkers with beautiful sand. A scenic course, great membership and excellent staff makes for a top notch experience. Now if only they could make the 10th hole a little easier lol

On this day 80 years ago, May 8th, 1945, marked Victory in Europe Day (V-E Day) which saw the fall of Nazi Germany, signifying the end of the Second World War in Europe. It was the same day when the citizens of Acton received word and held two parades in honour of this monumental day. Despite a Leafs playoff game going on, there was a good turnout to present a cheque for more than $10,000 to The Darling Home for Kids. We were treated to a presentation on the great work they do, followed by three members representing organizations to be voted on.
