This week marks 25 years since a large-scale reunion was held for alumni who attended Acton District High School from 1954 to 1977 when it was once located on Acton Blvd (present-day McKenzie-Smith Bennett Public School).
Held on June 24th and 25th, 2000, the weekend of events saw more than 1,200 alumni participate in the two-day festivities which included a parade, a rock 'n' roll dance party in the gymnasium of the old high school and ceremonies held at the Acton Legion hall.
